So-Lo’s stainless steel insert adapter fits into most standard rod holders. It quickly and easily locks in place short-butt and bent-butt stand-up type fishing rods. The adapter shortens the distance to the gimbal pin so it will engage the gimbal butt of your rod and prevent it from turning.
